Today, we pause to remember the events of September 11, 2001, and honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, including the firefighters, EMS providers, law enforcement officers, and other first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, service, and sacrifice remain forever in our hearts.

Our thoughts and prayers are extended to our brothers and sisters at the Upper Jay Fire Department and Essex County, NY Emergency Services, as well as the Torrance family! Rest easy brother, we have the watch!

It is with deep sadness and remorse that we have to inform you that Passed Chief, current member and Essex county fire investigator Lee Torrance has passed, thank you for your 50 years of service Lee, Rest easy , we will take it from here Brother.

The Ticonderoga Fire Department was able to participate with other local agencies in welcoming the National EMS Memorial Service Traveling Honors into Ticonderoga at the LifeNet of New York Base today to pay respects to Paramedic Kevin Robert from LifeNet as well as many other past EMS personnel and other first responders.

This past Tuesday we went out to the cemeteries and placed flags in remembrance of our past members. We usually do this for Memorial Day but was rescheduled due to the weather.
