We understand snow came early and leaves fell late! Beginning April 1 residents can place leaves in the roadway for a special 2026 spring leaf collection. All leaves shall be placed in the roadway by 7:00 am Monday April 13 so crews can pick them up. Branches can also be placed during the same timeframe for pick up, but need to be left on the terrace! Mixed leaves and brush are not able to be picked up.

If you want brush and leaves out of your way before the collection dates you can bring the material to the compost site at 1015 S Lincoln Ave. The compost site is open extended hours until April 20th.

When the storm rolled through, our community showed what real strength looks like β€” and sometimes it comes in a black-and-green can. πŸ’šβš‘

A huge thank you to Monster Energy for donating cases of drinks to keep our officers fueled during tornado response and recovery efforts. Long hours, little sleep, and a lot of work go into helping our city get back on its feet β€” and this generous boost definitely helped keep us going.

We appreciate the support and partnership as we continue serving our community, one energized shift at a time.
