Community members and friends, I Mike Davidson am running for 9th District County Commissioner. A Career Fireman of 38 years, 17 as Chikaming Township Fire Cheif. President of Berrien County Fire Cheifs for 12 years. Also owner of Clean sweep chimney service since 1978.
Recently retired, I have worked closely with the board of commissioners. This has given me knowledge in public safety and what is needed to get things done.
I believe in honesty and want to be a voice for the people. Making sure the people are represented properly and fairly.
Top priorities include ensureing the roads and infrastructure of the County are properly maintained.
Making sure the County's children are properly educated.
Also facing the loss of residents due to lack of jobs and housing. I want to work on opportunities for people to get fair housing and employment rates to stabilize.
