Tomorrow night, Wed. Oct. 17 at 7:00 pm, I, along with other City Council candidates, will be participating in a candidates forum at T.O. City Hall. I will give my views on the most consequential issue currently facing the council: the future of Thousand Oaks Blvd. Before the possibility of placing thousands of apartments on the boulevard, we need town hall meetings to find the views of our citizens -- their views should be our primary concern,

ONE OF THE BIGGEST ISSUES FACING OUR CITY. ELECT ED JONES TO PROTECT THE UNIQUE THOUSAND OAKS VIBE. A VOICE OF REASON.

"The sole candidate who is a former council member as well as a contributor and signer of the city’s original master plan is also the only candidate to outright oppose the concept of housing on the boulevard.

Ed Jones, who serves as a Conejo Recreation and Park District board member, told the council at its Aug. 28 meeting that while he supports the beautification of the boulevard, he doesn’t think it has to be tied to multistoried buildings with dwelling units.

“These dwelling units would not be proximate to parks, schools . . . or casual outdoor enjoyment, especially by children, as are residential tracts,” he said." Thousand Oaks Acorn 10/4/18

Important news -- tonight, Oct.1, is first City Council debate -- 8:00pm at new Godspeak Chapel in Dos Vientos. I intend to bring up subject of potentially placing thousands of apartments on T.O. Blvd. I'm in favor of beautification of T.O. Blvd., but question impacts of multitude of apartments. Need to know your reaction to changes in T.O. Blvd. Please let me know.
