Ventura County JACL We are members of the Japanese American Citizens League (Ventura County chapter). We do social activities and service projects

Our chapter is one of many chapters that comprise the Japanese American Citizens League. Our chapter primarily focuses on education, networking with those interested in Japanese and JA culture and awarding scholarships to students of Japanese descent who live in our county.

I was contacted by the City of Oxnard’s clerk’s office and for Asian American Heritage Month in May, the City of Oxnard City Council will be recognizing VC JACL for our efforts in the community to help the AAPI community here.
