Lookin' good, kids! πŸ’…

We recently celebrated several of our hardworking Teen Leaders and Camp Counselors with a day of pampering. The kids received complimentary facials and a chance to receive permanent jewelry (bracelets that have the clasps welded shut). This was a first-time experience for most of the teens, which made the day feel extra-special and exciting. And as if that weren't enough, our kids also got to learn about entrepreneurship and the path to building an independent business from two amazing role models!πŸ’

The teens came away with matching bracelets, glowing skin, and a memory they can keep forever (just like the jewelry!). Thanks to the warmth and generosity of Ayme () Mad Glamour Cosmetics + Permanent Jewelry & Tooth Gems (Mad Glamour Cosmetics), this was a trip that rejuvenated us inside and out! 😊🌈

Beep boop! Camp Many Mansions took a sci-fi turn when some of our former volunteers came around to teach kids about robotics. Fun and STEM were side-by-side during this amazing day, and we're so proud of what our robot overlords created. Aloha ʻauinalā! We had a heck of a luau over at Rancho Sierra last week. There were 38 seniors drinking fruit juice, wearing leis, and feeling the island breeze, with Many Mansions staff hula-ing right along with them. We are so proud to be the recipient of a $35,000 grant from Charter Communications through their Spectrum Community Assist Initiative! This amazing opportunity is the result of a partnership with Jobs for the Future, and will support Many Mansions residents across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties in developing and updating their workforce acumen.

Whether it's practicing for an interview, gaining on-site internship or part-time experience, or balancing a budget, Many Mansions is committed to helping our residents acquire the tools they need to thrive in the workplace - and thanks to Charter Communications/Spectrum, we can help even more!
