Due to the potential for severe weather in our area, the storm shelter is now open and available for residents seeking a safe place during the storm.

Please monitor local weather conditions and have a plan in place should conditions worsen.

If you are experiencing cloudy or discolored water, please be advised that Public Works repaired a 12-inch water main leak earlier this morning. As part of the repair process, hydrants have been opened throughout the system to help flush the water lines and restore normal water quality.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the system continues to clear. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact City Hall or Public Works.

City of Thorsby will present a fireworks show on July 1st. The fireworks will begin when it is dark.
