Rocky Mountain Partnership Cradle to Career™ (RMP) is a place-based partnership in Colorado’s north metro region including Adams County, Arvada, Aurora, and Broomfield. Together, we’re on a mission to help 71,000 more young people reach key cradle to career milestones on their path to upward mobility by 2030. We bring together decision-makers, community leaders, and those most impacted by these ch

allenges to create lasting change. As part of the national StriveTogether network, our local efforts are connected to a broader movement working to put 4 million young people nationwide on a path to economic mobility by 2030.

In early December, a small group representing the Rocky Mountain Partnership Cradle to Career network and community participated in the national kickoff of the Advancing Opportunities for Adolescents (AOA) Initiative in NYC.

This initiative aligns with our shared work and High Impact Project (HIP) #1: Redesign Navigation and Out of School Time, ensuring young people can access interest aligned opportunities and trusted guidance wherever they show up.

Thank you to The Wallace Foundation for convening this initial kickoff and to our partners who joined. We’re looking forward to engaging the full HIP partnership as we move into collaborative design and incubation, building on this early momentum together.

Our Story

A key component to a successful community includes academic achievement, and the safety and well-being of its children and youth. When ALL children and youth succeed, our community succeeds. Why? Because children and youth become our workforce, leaders and community members, and it’s no secret that communities who have a talented workforce attract and retain employers. With jobs, income, benefits, etc., families are able to live and contribute to a better quality of life. This IS our true north. Success for EVERY young person– Cradle to Career.
