The building materials in this picture have been partially blocking the alleyway in the 100 block of W Salty St. for three weeks. Unknown who the owner is, but if it belongs to you it will be safe and secure at the city utility yard near the treatment plant. Bring a receipt, bill of sale, or invoice so we can verify ownership.

Today we received OVERDOSE PREVENGTION TRAINING from Cheryl Friedman from Communities For Recovery which included the use of NARCAN for persons who have overdosed. This included how to recognize and respond. This training is available to the community and everyone is welcome to attend. Please let me know if you are interested in attending a future training.

Happy 4th of July residents!! Just a friendly reminder NO FIREWORKS in the city limits. We do have an ordnince that will be inforced by officers on-duty. Please take you fireworks to a safe area outside the city. Sometimes I hate this part of my job, but it truely is about the safety of all residents. Thank You and have fun this weekend.

Say hello to Officer Travis Noblitt who just joined the Thorndale Police Department on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026. We are proud to have Officer Noblitt join our City. Officer Noblitt has 8 yrs law enforcement experience, a U.S. Army veteran who fought in a few middle east wars. He has a Master Peace License and is an advanced instructor. He is a family man and just an all around friendly great guy.

Suspicious vehicle! Please keep be on the lookout for the white car in the pics. It was seen this morning around 2nd and Front St driving around slowly, would stop, then turn off its lights then sit in one spot. Residents in the area got concerned. Hopefully it's nothing, but you never know.
