🌺📚 Aloha from Professional Learning! 📚🌺

Science and Social Studies teachers from TCMS and TCA spent two days this week exploring new ways to engage students through deeper thinking, hands-on learning, and literacy-rich lessons.

With tropical attire and colorful leis adding to the fun, teachers embraced the Hawaiian theme while collaborating and learning new strategies to bring back to their classrooms. 🌴☀️

🏆 Recognized for Their Dedication to Student Success

Thomas County Schools is proud to recognize two outstanding educators from Thomas County Central High School who were recently honored at the Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education (GACTE) Conference.

👏 Brandi Miranda was named Teacher of the Year for Work-Based Learning and Teacher of the Year for the Counseling Department. Through her dedication to connecting students with real-world experiences and career opportunities, Mrs. Miranda continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.

👏 Samantha Vonier was recognized as New Teacher of the Year for the Counseling Department. Since joining TCCHS, Ms. Vonier has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to supporting and guiding students as they prepare for their futures.
