School is out, and the Summer Library Program will continue into its second week on MONDAY. We have a full calendar for June and July, so be sure to go through all of the pictures in this post! We'll have new Take and Make kits available every Monday for pick-up, weekly events on Tuesdays, weekly Local Legends Story Time for all ages on Thursday mornings, weekly food boxes for kids that will be given out on Thursday afternoons from Feeding the Gulf Coast that contains 7 shelf-stable breakfasts and 7 shelf-stable lunches, and don't forget to stop by the library to register to read for prizes! We have a lot planned for the next several weeks, so make plans to attend as much as you can!!

We appreciate everyone who joined us for the Local Legends Story Time this morning. A special thank you goes to Mayor Sheldon Day for being our first local legend to read to the children as part of our Summer Library Program. Remember, the Local Legends Story Time takes place every Thursday at 10 a.m. throughout June and July, so be sure to come and listen to our local legends.

ATTENTION: Even if you attended last year at our location or have ever attended another location, new paperwork MUST be completed by us that requires the adult's photo ID and either the child to be present OR you must have the child's birth certificate. Verification and paperwork cannot be done over the phone prior to the event. Last year's paperwork is no longer available to use to verify information about children or proxy pick-up information. We apologize for any inconvenience!
