This recognition not only celebrates Ms. Presha’s dedication, passion, and impact in the classroom, but also highlights the strong support from our community partners who invest in our educators and students.

🐾🌟 Future Leaders in Action 🌟🐾

We are excited to share the launch of the inaugural City of Thomasville Youth Council, introduced at a recent City Council meeting. This new initiative, created in partnership with Thomasville City Schools, is designed to engage, educate, and empower high school students through real-world experiences in local government and public service.

Through a collaborative selection process, students were chosen for their leadership potential, civic interest, and commitment to their community. Beginning in Fall 2026, Youth Council members will participate in mentorship opportunities, leadership development, and hands-on experiences that provide insight into how local government serves the community.

👏 Congratulations to our inaugural members: Kamryn Shokat, John Adeyeye, Jayla Brooks, Zachary Fann, and LillieBella Richardson.

This opportunity reflects our Bulldog +1 commitment—preparing students for the future through meaningful, real-world experiences.

Today, we celebrate all of our Thomasville City Schools students who reached incredible milestones this year—from our Pre-K graduates, to our 5th and 8th grade students, and our Class of 2026 seniors.

Each step represents growth, hard work, and new opportunities ahead. Whether it’s the first graduation or the final walk across the stage, every moment matters in the journey.
