September is Attendance Awareness Month!

At Thomaston-Upson Schools, every day matters and every student matters! This year’s theme, “Your Presence Matters!”, reminds us that each day a student is at school is another opportunity to learn, grow, build meaningful relationships, and receive the support needed to succeed.

Consistent, on-time attendance helps students stay connected to their teachers, classmates, and school community. It also builds positive habits that contribute to success in the classroom and beyond.

Throughout September, we encourage our families to make attendance a priority and help our students make the most of every school day.

ULMS held their first Parent University today, and it was very informative. Mrs. Gulley presented on the middle school’s new “Leader in Me” program and explained I-Ready testing to parents. Keep an eye out for future Upson- Lee Middle School Parent University events. 💜🖤
