Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day and the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served.

From all of us at the North Thibodaux Fire Company, we extend our deepest gratitude to our fallen heroes and their families. 🇺🇸

🚨 Thibodaux Firemen’s Fair April 30 - May 3 🚨

With the Thibodaux Firemen's Fair set to kick off tomorrow at 5:00 p.m., we would like to ensure the public that this year’s safety initiatives have remained in place which was modified for improvement years prior.

ENTRY GATE:
Security features remain implemented at all entry gates. High tech scanners will allow thorough detection and faster entry into the event. A lot of efforts continue into making this as safe and enjoyable as possible for the guests.

CHILD SAFETY WRISTBANDS:
As years past, the Thibodaux Police Department will offer wristband registration for children attending the fair. This wristband will be coded to allow Law Enforcement the ability to track down the parent/guardian for a lost child located on the grounds. Please visit the Thibodaux Police Department booth located near the south entry gate inside the grounds. Reminder signs will be posted at each gate.

As we continue to work with fair officials and assisting law enforcement, we are taking every precaution necessary to ensure a safe and successful weekend for our firemen and our community. 🎡🚒🚓

🚧THIBODAUX FIREMENS FAIR ROAD CLOSURE🚧

Due to high foot traffic on Tiger Drive for the Thibodaux Volunteer Firemen’s Fair (April 30 - May 3) there will be NO THROUGH TRAFFIC allowed on Tiger Drive. Also as a reminder, there is also no longer public parking available on Tiger Drive. The only vehicles granted access are authorized vehicles, residents and business owners from 1100 to 1144 Tiger Drive.

Between 1118 and 1120 Tiger Drive there will be a barrier in place blocking the roadway. Residents from 1100 to 1118 Tiger Dr. will have residential access at Parish Road, as seen in the yellow block. Residents and business owners from 1120 to 1144 Tiger Drive will have access from Plantation Road, as seen in the red block. All residents must present their proper issued credentials to be allowed access. Barriers will be put into place everyday prior to the opening of the fair and removed at the end the day’s festivities. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and we assure that all steps taken are in the interest of public safety.

These road closures will only be in effect during the operating times of the fair.
