‼️ To address a concern from yesterday-
First and foremost thank you for your patience through the outage, we know you don’t have a choice, but your understanding of the situation is appreciated.
The Village of Theresa had no prior notice of any electric outage and our answering service would not have that information, if we did.
(When we review the recorded call log on Monday, we will address this with our answering service company for potentially providing false information).
Any “scheduled” interruption to any utility services are always provided as soon as we are notified. We know you’ve heard it all before, but National Grid service related outages are beyond our control and any updates we get, we share them immediately, but more often than not, there are none to share. When you don’t get an update, it’s because we don’t have one to provide.
Again, thank you for your patience and we apologize for the inconveniences that are beyond our control!

The Village of Theresa is aware of the power outage. This is a National Grid issue. National Grid is aware of the situation and is sending crews to assess the situation. As of now, we have not been given an estimated restoration time. We will update you as information becomes available. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is truly out of our control.
