🌼 Plant Now for Pollinators! 🦋
Fall is a great time to add native plants to your landscape! Stop by the Fall Pollinator Pop-Up on Saturday, September 12, from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park to pick up free native milkweed and seed packets, while supplies last.

Learn how adding native plants to your landscape can provide valuable food and habitat for monarchs, bees, and other pollinators while creating a beautiful, resilient landscape at home.

Hi residents of Harper’s Landing - please be aware of the following road closure and the alternative routes to take tomorrow.

⚠️ NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE- SOUTH TRADE CENTER BOULEVARD ⚠️

Union Pacific Railroad will be closing Trade Center Boulevard at the crossing on TUESDAY, 8/11/26, for track repairs. This will be a one-day closure from 8AM to 6PM. Use Donwick Drive as your detour and expect potential traffic delays.

The Woodlands Township is offering a new program to residents, Safe at Home.

This interactive safety program is designed for students in 4th through 6th grade who may be staying home alone. The program offers important safety education and practical tips to help students feel more prepared and confident and is offered at no cost to participants.

Please join us in congratulating Bailey Fischer, the 2026 College Park Village Association Scholarship recipient.

Bailey will be attending the University of Texas at Arlington this year, majoring in Psychology with plans to pursue Civil Law in the future.

We are proud to have Bailey represent the Village of College Park and The Woodlands in this next chapter of her education. Congratulations, Bailey!

We are saddened to learn of the passing of a true community servant. Mike Larson, a longtime resident of Harper’s Landing, has passed away, according to a notice posted by his wife, Jackie.

Mike was a true and loyal servant to the community, not only here in the Village of College Park, but throughout Montgomery County and beyond.

Mike served for many years on the board of our College Park Village Association, where he held the position of Vice President for many years and chaired numerous events and committees. He was a visionary in his quest to make our community a better place to live. His countless volunteer hours were invaluable to our community, and we are deeply grateful for his service.

He was instrumental in developing new ideas for our board. He brought vision and excitement to our National Night Out events, fostered the idea of our CPVA Business Expo, served as the one and only “Casey Jones” conductor for our Fall Festival railroad train, and introduced many innovative ideas while serving on our board.

Beyond our village, Mike volunteered at the Houston Rodeo, contributed significantly to county emergency preparedness through his involvement with CERT, and was instrumental in bringing the idea of collecting canned goods to our CPVA events.

He managed to accomplish all of this while running a business, caring for his wife, and supporting his family.

Our prayers and condolences go out to Jackie and his family. We will certainly miss Mike, but he will not be forgotten for his many, many hours of dedicated community service.

May he rest in peace.
