This is an excellent camp for rising 7th graders!

Are you or do you know a young woodwind, brass, or percussion player? SHSU’s Junior High School Band Camp is the perfect opportunity for students to grow as musicians and experience band beyond their own school program!

Campers will strengthen their individual performance skills while connecting with other young musicians from across the region.

We are so proud of the 70 members of the Mustang Band who went to the CISD Honor Band audition on November 9th. Congratulations to the 29 students who were selected for the band - they will play a concert in January for our district leaders. Go Mustangs!

The Mitchell Mustang Band is wishing The TWHS Marching Band a great performance at the 6A UIL Prelims!

The Bands of America Super Regional in San Antonio is oftentimes more competitive than the NATIONAL competition. Texas Band is unrivaled anywhere else!

On Tuesday they are competing at the UIL State Marching Contest. All of these bands will be there, but it’s a clean slate at a new contest.

We are sooooooo proud of all our Highlander Band members who auditioned for the TMEA Region 9 Honor Bands this past Saturday. It takes huge amounts of courage and determination to audition. Go Highlander Band!
