Yet for some, tattoos represent the hell and the forced prisons pressed upon their minds and hearts. They are indicative of a time when they were treated, manhandled, manipulated and abused as nothing more than objects. So for many, freeing oneself from ink produces a clean canvas, yet for the ones we help, we are literally freeing them from the proverbial chains that bind their hearts and minds.

This affords them the ability to overcome barriers to a healthy mentality, to seek acceptance from themselves and from others, to re-enter society and procure employment so....after a lifetime of surviving, they can finally LIVE.
