D4D Reward Days Over the Years! 🐉

Every dollar raised for D4D (Dollars 4 Dragons) directly supports our students & teachers and unlocks incredible rewards along the way! Check out some of these Reward Days from the past!

How fundraising is fun for our students:

🍩 Classroom Goals: Donut Day, Lunch Outside, Class Choice Day (game day, extra recess, etc.)

🛝 Grade Level Goals: Extra Recess, Popsicles at Lunch, Free Choice PE

💃 School-Wide Goals: Music at Lunch with DJ Dexter, Dance Party, FUN DAY (with inflatables!)

In the past, when we have surpassed our goal, students have pied teachers, duct-taped the principal to the wall, and had a dance party with Dexter the Mascot! 🥧🧱

🐉Dollars for Dragons (D4D) Kicks Off September 8th!

Our BIGGEST school fundraiser of the year is officially here! D4D is Deretchin’s direct-giving campaign—which means 100% of your contribution stays right here at our school instead of 40–50% going to third-party fundraising/ boosterthon companies. No selling cookie dough, wrapping paper, or sending your kids door-to-door!

Key Details:
🗓 Dates: Sept 8th – Sept 18th
🎯 Goal: $62,500
💙 Suggested Donation: $80 per student (any amount is deeply appreciated!)
☘️Bonus: FUN class & campus-wide rewards as we reach milestones!

WEATHER UPDATE | Conroe ISD Closed Wednesday, September 2 Following a meeting with the National Weather Service and Montgomery County Emergency Management, the latest forecast indicates Tropical Storm Edouard is strengthening and is expected to move farther into our area this evening and directly impact our school district. As a result, Conroe ISD will be closed on Wednesday, September 2. All schools and district offices will be closed, and all after-school activities are canceled.

Hi Dragon Families! 🐉

A quick reminder about campus rules and prohibited items. Please double-check backpacks (especially after summer hiking trips!) so nothing ends up at school by mistake.

Strictly Prohibited Items:

—Knives of any kind (including pocket, utility, or X-Acto knives)

—Self-defense items (pepper/bear spray, tasers, brass knuckles, glass-breaker keychains)

—Sharp objects (box cutters, razors, sharp-metal nail files)

—Toy weapons or replicas

Students may NOT bring or use: (Yes, these are all real rules because someone has actually tried it!)

—AI tools (Use your own brain! It counts as cheating.)

—Energy drinks

—Toys & Fidgets (skateboards, Tech Decks, slime, NeeDohs—please don’t!, squishies, magnets, ASMR toys, etc.)

—Personal keyboards or mouse (for computer or pet🐭😅

—Multiple people intentionally
congregating in a bathroom (“Potty parties”—gross and please make room for others who actually need to use the restroom)

—An item you consider valuable and would be upset if your child lost it (Labubus, personal electronics, or anything you’d be upset if your child lost)

* if your child has accommodations, defer to their IEP.
