Athens Soil and Water Conservation District

Athens Soil and Water Conservation District The Athens SWCD was organized in 1946 for the purpose of planning and carrying out natural resources conservation programs.

The District is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio and is governed by a board of supervisors, elected by the landowners.

Free Farm Pesticide Disposal Collection Event to be held in Athens County on August 27th at the Albany Independent Fairgrounds (Athens County) 5201 Washington Road, Albany, Ohio 45710, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Helping keep Ohio clean!

ODA is setting up FREE farm pesticide collection events in Athens, Crawford, and Miami counties. Last year, we helped safely dispose of 74,000 lbs. of pesticides.
