On Saturday, we watched our amazing seniors cross the stage and officially become graduates. But graduation isn't just a finish line, it's a launching pad. Check out the incredible "next steps" this diverse and talented class is taking:

College Bound: 88 students are headed to higher education! From local enrollment at CGCC to prestigious institutions like Dartmouth, Gonzaga, OSU Honors College, and the Clark Honors College at U of O. 📚

Future Trades & Careers: 5 students are entering trade schools/apprenticeships, and 2 are joining the Job Corps. 🛠️

Service & Country: 4 students are entering the military. 🇺🇸

Next-Level Athletes: 14 students were recruited to play college sports! 🏆

Exploration: 7 students are taking a meaningful gap year to work or travel the world. ✈️💼

No matter where the wind takes you, Riverhawks, we are so incredibly proud of you. The future is yours!

On Friday, our graduating seniors took a beautiful trip down memory lane. They returned to their elementary alma maters for the annual Riverhawk Walk, high-fiving the next generation and walking those familiar halls one last time in their caps and gowns. 🎓✨

To our seniors: thank you for inspiring our younger students and showing them what's possible with hard work.

To our elementary staff: we know the tissues were out in full force! Seeing these amazing young adults come full circle is exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

🦬 WAGONS HO! 🪵 Across our elementary schools, the historic Oregon Trail officially came to an end this week!

Our annual Wagons Ho! event is a favorite tradition, and this year’s fourth graders absolutely crushed it. After preparing for weeks, students across the district stepped back in time to re-create the final days of the pioneer journey.

Wagons Ho! 4th Graders Step Back in Time at the End of the Oregon Trail

Our CW fourth graders had an incredible adventure last week as they traveled to the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Oregon City! This hands-on field trip was the perfect kickoff as students gear up for our much-anticipated annual School Wagon's Ho event, where they will re-create the historic journey.

👩‍🍳🥟 A Taste of Culture in Mrs. Maya’s Class! 🇺🇦✨

Our students have been on a delicious culinary journey learning how to cook different cultural dishes from around the world!

This week, they got a hands-on lesson in making authentic Ukrainian dumplings (Varenyky!). A huge thank you to one of our amazing Ukrainian parents for coming in, sharing their traditions, and teaching our students how to pinch the perfect dumpling.
