We are so grateful for a staff that consistently overdelivers and puts students first every single day! Rain or shine, our staff goes above and beyond for our students. 🌧️💙

During today’s rainy dismissal, teachers and staff stepped outside to help students safely get to their cars. Our Camey staff kept smiles on their faces and umbrellas overhead!!

It’s the little moments of care, teamwork, and dedication that make our school community so special.

Today was a day of celebrations at Camey Elementary! We started off today with a huge accomplishment for our 5th grade Robotics team!!! You are looking at the FIRST PLACE WINNERS of the LISD Virtual Robotics Competition!!! Way to go Cobras and way to represent Camey!

Our Camey GT Showcase was a huge success! We are so proud of all our Camey GT students for their dedication throughout the year! A huge thank you to Mrs. Campbell, our outstanding GT teacher, for encouraging creativity and innovation among our Camey Cobras.

Attention Kindergarten Parents:

We are thrilled to invite you and your kindergartener to a very special event – the "Pass the Torch" Ceremony at Tommy Briggs Stadium, celebrating the future of Cougar Nation!

On May 18th, we ask that you arrive with your kindergartener and meet in the concourse area near the concession stand on the North End of the Stadium by 6:45 PM. PALS students will be there to es**rt the students to the end zone nearest the field house. Parents can then move to the stands At the same time, the seniors from the Class of 2026 will gather in the South End Zone.

During the ceremony, our seniors will cross the field to meet the kindergarteners at the 50-yard line, symbolically welcoming them as the future of The Colony High School. Together, we will then "put our paws up" and proudly sing the TCHS Alma Mater.

Afterward, kindergarteners will exit the stadium while our seniors stay to enjoy their Senior Sunset celebration. Parents of both kindergarteners and seniors are welcome to watch the ceremony from the stands and are encouraged to take pictures to capture this special moment.

We look forward to starting this meaningful new tradition and officially welcoming our future Cougars into the Cougar family!

Bring the cup to Bubba’s 33 and receive a FREE kids' meal
Valid all summer long (May 22 – August 12)
Only ONE adult entrée purchase per family is required each visit
No limit on how many times you can use it
Yes....you read that right! Whether you have 1 child or 4, only one adult meal needs to be purchased for your kids to enjoy their free meals each visit. 🙂
