DA Clark joined other city DAs and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch to announce that 2,000 fi****ms have been taken off the streets since January. “Two thousand fewer fi****ms are in the hands of criminals, preventing incalculable heartbreak for families and communities. I commend the work of our relentless NYPD officers in lockstep with our state and federal partners to get these guns off our streets.”

It's official, the Bronx now has TWO NYPD Patrol Borough Commands---Bronx North and Bronx South. Today, DA Clark joined Commissioner Tisch, Mayor Mamdani and Gov. Hochul at the headquarters for Bronx Patrol Borough South. Additional police officers will help prevent crime and strengthen community ties and localized investigators will enhance already exceptional crime-solving. I look forward to continued partnership with the excellent men and women of the NYPD who serve our great borough.

The young leaders of Bronx DA Clark’s Youth Advisory Council closed out the 2025-26 session last Saturday. They learned about civic engagement, took a trip to Albany to meet with state legislators, planned the Bronx Youth Summit, and discussed important issues such as gun violence that affect the lives of the Bronx's youth. We are extremely proud of these teens and wish them future success. We thank them for participating and sharing their voices.
