✨ Legacy in action. Opportunity with purpose. ✨ Destination Tomorrow is proud to launch The Cecilia Gentili Program, an internship-based initiative honoring the life and legacy of a true trailblazer. 🕊️🏳️‍⚧️

Cecilia Gentili fought fiercely for transgender communities, s*x workers, and LGBTQ+ people living with HIV right here in New York City. This program carries that same spirit forward, creating pathways to stability, skill-building, and long-term empowerment.

Eligible participants (LGBTQ+ individuals 25+ living with HIV) can enroll in one of three FREE certification tracks:
💼 Certified Peer Advocate
🛡️ Security License
🎬 Production Assistant

This is more than training... it’s access, it’s opportunity, it’s community care in motion. With only 45 spots available, we’re prioritizing those already connected to DT programs and individuals navigating reentry.

📧 To refer someone, contact [email protected]

Cecilia’s legacy lives on through every life we uplift. 💛

Jambo. 💔 That was how Kiara St. James greeted so many of us. Warmly. Intentionally. With love, community, and recognition.

Today, we mourn the passing of a true trailblazer, advocate, and community builder. As the founder of New York Transgender Advocacy Group (NYTAG), Kiara dedicated her life to fighting for the dignity, safety, visibility, and liberation of Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming people, especially those too often pushed to the margins.

Kiara’s work was rooted in service. She challenged systems, opened doors, created opportunities, and reminded countless people that they deserved to be seen, protected, and valued. Her impact on New York’s TGNC community, and beyond cannot be overstated.

More than an advocate, Kiara was a spirit. A presence. A reminder that community care is sacred work.

Sending love and prayers to her family, loved ones, chosen family, and everyone whose life was touched by her leadership and heart.

May we continue the fight with the same boldness, compassion, and conviction that Kiara carried throughout her life.

Jambo, Kiara.
Rest in power. 🕊️
