Grand Concourse Library, NYPL Built in 1958, the branch is a two-story facility with adult, young adult, and children's collections.

A multi-use room is available for community group meetings as well as library programs. We offer collections of materials in English and Spanish, and year-round recreational and educational programs for all ages.

Independence Day, July 4 will soon be upon us. Join the Grand Concourse Library staff as we discuss patriot Thomas Paine's incendiary pamphlet, "Common Sense." Prior to its publication in 1776, most colonists wanted to "reconcile" with Great Britain, and put their differences with the mother country behind them.
