Thank you Friends of Moore Memorial Public Library for sponsoring a fabulously fun Summer Reading Kick-off! It was a roar-some event filled with dinosaurs, activities, and plenty of smiles.

We'd also like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers, resource vendors, and City Departments that helped make this year a huge success. A special thanks to City of Texas City Recreation and Tourism for helping us set-up and tear down. Shoutouts to Texas City Police Department , Texas City Fire Department, Galveston County Health District, College of the Mainland, Family Service Center - The Center for Mental Health & Wellbeing, DePelchin Children's Center, Craving For A Change Foundation Inc., and Texas Roadhouse for coming out and sharing their resources with the community.

Join us for weekly Summer Storytimes at the library!

Toddler Storytime takes place Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for children ages 1–3 and includes stories, music and movement, bubbles, and playful social time.

Preschool Storytime takes place Wednesdays at 10 a.m. for children ages 3–5 and features stories, music and movement, plus a fun craft or activity each week.
