The Friends wish Alex well and thank her for all her help.

THANK YOU and BEST WISHES to Alex Lowder! Today is Alex's last day working for the Town of Tewksbury. Alex was the Town's Community & Economic Development Planner. She had many, many roles and responsibilities, but -- for the purposes of this post -- Alex was the Co-Manager of the Tewksbury Community Market for the past five years. Alex was instrumental in bringing the weekly summer market (back) to the Livingston Park location, establishing a monthly winter market at the Senior Center, scheduling 75-100 vendors each season, and organizing the day-of logistics for each and every market. She also incorporated many of the market's vendors into Fall-O-Weens, Harvest Festivals, and Christmas Tree Lightings, which -- oh, by the way -- were some of the other large community events that she organized. If you want something done, and done well, assign it to Alex Lowder! She is a leader with a bright future.
