On Tuesday, our district staff officially kicked off the new school year together with a full day of learning, inspiration, and community building. We started the morning energized by cheering students and keynote speaker Dr. Tim Allen, who shared powerful insights on educator mentality and five key mindsets for success. In the afternoon, teachers dived into professional development sessions on several topics, including elementary Tang Math instruction, de-escalation techniques, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). To top off a great day, the Central Office team cooked and served a delicious BBQ lunch to show gratitude for the incredible educators who make our district thrive. We were officially ready to welcome our students back!
