Book Synopsis:

Whitney Monroe has closed her restaurant for good, and after a call from her hometown she discovers her estranged step-father was injured. After many years away she returns home to find many things the same, and many things different. She works to uncover family heritage whilst dealing with suspicious townsfolk, her angry stepfather and her own financial struggles. The longer she stays, the more she uncovers from old letters and family books.

We have some exciting news to share!

Over the next few months, Prairie County Library will be undergoing renovations to create an even better space for our community. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this exciting transformation.

At some point during the project, the library will need to close temporarily. We'll share those dates as soon as they're confirmed, but in the meantime, be sure to stop by and stock up on books and other materials before the closure.

We can't wait to welcome you back and share our refreshed library with everyone! Stay tuned for updates. ♥️

📚 MUST be 4 years old by September 10th, 2026 and able to attend Kindergarten in the Fall of 2027 if desired. Only 12 spots available!
