Graduation 2026 Reminders:

LIMITED handicap parking will be available in the Terrell Memorial Stadium parking lot as well as Ben Gill Park. Handicap parking is first come, first served.
only.

If you are NOT attending graduation, please try and avoid the area around 9th Street near Terrell Memorial Stadium during graduation hours. Traffic is expected to be extremely congested and backed up before and after the ceremony.

Reminder: Clear bag policy will be enforced for graduation. This includes purses, backpacks, and gift bags.

We encourage all attendees to use designated parking areas and follow directions from event staff and the Terrell ISD Police Department.

La graduación de la Clase de 2026 se acerca rápidamente y queremos compartir información importante sobre el estacionamiento. El estacionamiento para la graduación estará disponible en Ben Gill Park y, cruzando la calle, en las áreas de color AMARILLO. NO se permitirá estacionar en las áreas de color ROJO, las cuales corresponden a negocios locales. (POR FAVOR, CONSULTE EL GRÁFICO A CONTINUACIÓN PARA VER LOS DETALLES).

Today we want to recognize an outstanding student, Loti, as he returns home to France after his time at Terrell ISD. 🇫🇷

Loti has been a wonderful example of kindness, respect, responsibility, and positivity during his time here. He quickly became part of the Tiger family, and his presence will truly be missed by students and staff alike.

Pictured with Officer Cardozo, this moment reflects the strong connections and supportive relationships built throughout our district. We are grateful for the opportunity to have hosted such a respectful and hardworking young man.

Thank you, Loti, for sharing your culture, friendship, and positive attitude with us. We wish you safe travels and nothing but success in your future adventures back home in France.

Senior Procession Traffic & Safety Information

On Wednesday, May 27, Terrell ISD seniors will participate in the Senior Procession beginning at 6:00 PM.

The procession will travel from Ben Gill Park to the Jamie Foxx Performing Arts Center with assistance from Terrell ISD Police.

Traffic Advisory:
• 9th Street and Griffith Ave. will temporarily close around 6:00 PM for approximately 20 minutes
• Roads will reopen once all participants safely arrive

For everyone’s safety:
• Only licensed and registered vehicles are permitted
• No golf carts or horses allowed
• All passengers must remain seated
• Seatbelts are required
• No standing in truck beds

In the event of rain, the procession will be canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Fridays may be student-free, but the training never stops. Our officers use this time for rifle and pistol qualifications, fi****ms maintenance, and skill development to ensure we stay prepared, proficient, and ready to protect our campuses!

Today we are proud to recognize Officer Sindy Monjaras for an incredible accomplishment as she earns her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Public Safety with a Leadership emphasis from East Texas A&M University.

As she prepares to begin her Master’s program in Public Safety, she is a powerful reminder that with faith, purpose, and perseverance, there is always room to grow.

This accomplishment also marks an exciting milestone for TISD, with more than half of our officers now holding a Bachelor’s degree. We are proud to be part of a department that values education, leadership, and excellence.

Congratulations, Officer Sindy. Your hard work and dedication continue to inspire those around you.
