100+ Women Who Care Vigo County

100+ Women Who Care Vigo County is a philanthropic group designed to provide financial support to charitable causes in Vigo County, IN.

Members of 100+ Women Who Care meet on a quarterly basis to nominate, advocate and select a nonprofit organization to collectively support. Each member agrees to donate a total of $500 per year of membership. The first $100 is added to the 100+ Women Who Care Endowment fund in the Community Foundation. The remaining $400 is used to support the four nonprofit organizations selected throughout the y

ear ($100 at each meeting).

**NEW THIS YEAR - Members 40 years of age and younger may choose to join at a reduced-cost of $250 per year ($50 for the endowment; $50 each quarter)**

Here's how it works:

Each member can put her name and the name of an organization she would like to have considered in a drawing at each meeting. Three members' submissions will randomly be selected to give a 5 minute presentation advocating for their agency, followed by 3 minutes for questions. At the end of the presentations, members will vote on which organization they would like to see funded. The organization with the most votes will be announced as that quarter's grant recipient. Each member will then make a $100 contribution to the selected organization. Once an organization has been selected, it is not eligible for funding for 2 years. Note: To be eligible for consideration, the organization must be a 501(c)3 or government entity. Nonprofits affiliated with religious organizations are eligible as long as the services address a societal need and are not restricted based upon religious affiliation. Only nonprofits that serve Vigo County are eligible. Controversial and political nonprofits will not be considered.

Congratulations to Trees Inc. for being selected as the recipient of the 2026 100+ Women Who Care 2nd Quarter Grant! This grant will help support the planting of approximately 400–500 additional trees across the community, continuing their mission of creating a stronger and more sustainable Terre Haute. 🌳💙

Is connecting with like-minded women and giving back to your community on your New Year’s resolution list? Join 100+ Women Who Care – Vigo County in 2026 and make a meaningful local impact with a minimal time commitment.

100+ Women Who Care - Vigo County is composed of women who share a common desire to give back to their local community.

Members commit to donating $525 per year of membership. The first $100 supports an endowment in the Wabash Valley Community Foundation that will be used to serve future opportunities in the community. $25 will be used to cover appetizers. The remaining $400 is used to support the four nonprofits selected by members throughout the year ($100 at each meeting).

In an attempt to engage more young professionals in 100+ Women Who Care - Vigo County, an opt-in membership has been created for members 40 and under.

Members 40 and under: choosing this option will result in an annual contribution of $275 ($50 as the membership commitment, which goes into the endowment fund; $25 to cover appetizers; $50 each quarter).

Local nonprofit organizations need your support now more than ever, and joining 100+ Women Who Care - Vigo County is an excellent way to make an impact!
