Members of the Vigo County Drug Task Force arrested Nathan Goff and Stephanie Ellinger on 7/17/2019. The arrest were the result of an investigation concerning Goff’s involvement in distributing large amounts of methamphetamine in the Terre Haute, Vigo County area. A search warrant was conducted at Goff and Ellinger’s residence. During the search of the residence detectives located 3 handguns, ma*****na, and more than 2 1/2 pounds of methamphetamine.

On 2/28/2019, members of the Vigo County Drug Task Force, Park County Sherif’s Department, and Indiana State Police conducted an investigation pertaining to Matthew Huffman’s involvement in the distribution of methamphetamine. During the investigation a Terre Haute City Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle Huffman was driving. While speaking with the officer Huffman attempted to run from the officer. After apprehending and handcuffing Huffman it was discovered that he was in possession of approximately one pound of methamphetamine.

Det. Lafave led an investigation that resulted in the arrest of Patrick Shanklin and Jordaliza Alapag. Both subjects were charged with Dealing Methamphetamine, level 2 felony after being found to be in possession of approximately 927.5 grams of methamphetamine. The Vigo County Drug Task Force was assisted in the investigation by the West Terre Haute Police Department, Indiana State Police, and Drug Enforcement Administration.
