A caucus will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT at IBEW Local 16 Union Hall, 9001 N. Kentucky Ave., Evansville, IN 47725, for the purpose of electing a Chair for the Indiana 8th Congressional District Democrats. The caucus will be chaired by Cheryl Schultz.

Those interested in being considered must submit a letter of interest to caucus chair, Cheryl Schultz, at [email protected] or mailed to 3831 Grassmere Lane, Evansville, IN 47725. Letters must be received by 10:00 AM CDT on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026. There will be no nominations from the floor or discussion.

Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates must reside in the Indiana 8th District, be a registered voter, be a member in good standing (voted Democratic in the last primary in which they voted). Please include your name, address, phone number, and email in your letter.
