There are many things we can discuss with our politicians but one of the biggest ones right now should be are you for the American people or the Isr@eli government?

These are not entertwined and our militaries should not be either.

Our military does not serve Isr@el. It serves the interests of the American people.

Our Congresspeople and Senators need a refresher course on who they pledge an allegiance to when they take office.

Thank you to everyone that followed me, supported me, and voted for me.

I joined this race to fight for disability rights and to encourage other normal working class people to run in these races.

I feel that this race was a success for me because I accomplished what I set out to do. I increased awareness, advocacy, started conversations in rooms between people that they would’ve never had, and built lasting friendships with amazing people.

I’m not quite sure what the future holds, but I know my advocacy is far from over.

I would encourage every person to run in a race in the future. We are all advocates in our own way and have invaluable lived experience.

My commitment remains the same. I serve my country, the constitution, and my people. I will help every progressive I can in these races. If you need my help reach out I will be there.

Now the real work begins.

Tenacity is a trait all Congresspeople should have.

I am relentless because I know what is at stake.

I refuse to accept less than what the American people deserve.

We have an opportunity to get what we want.

We must put people in office that will fight for us.

Don’t forget it is also National MMIW2S Day.

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Two-Spirit People are 10x more likely to be murdered than other parts of the population.

Often these crimes are perpetrated by people outside of their communities and tribal police struggle to hold them accountable.

We wear red today to represent the blood spilled in this crisis. It is also believed that red is the only color spirits can see.

If you are interested in supporting legislation that will help this movement you should contact your Congresspeople and ask them to support Savanna’s Act.

You can also vote in new Congresspeople that are interested in furthering this mission to help the MMIW2S Movement.

The Indiana Primary is today - May 5.

You can vote until 6pm.

If you are in line at 6pm they will still allow you to vote.

Disability advocacy is not a party issue. It’s a human issue.

Many people struggle through the system in place that is not working. It is not serving our families and we can do better.

It doesn’t matter whether you identify as a Democrat, Progressive, Socialist, Libertarian, Independent, Republican, or no party at all.

Disability will affect everyone in their lifetime.

I’ve got friends from across the political spectrum. I care about everyone because I understand who is actually dividing the people and why.

I’ll fight for everybody.

Parents become advocates and activists because they want change. Because they see the holes in the system. They see people in their communities suffering. That is a different type of motivation for change.

I know firsthand what will happen to people in my community that I love if we do not get strong advocates and champions of social justice in these seats. My family, as well as many others will lose services, independence, and lives will literally be lost by poorly thought out legislation.

We need people that actively practice humanitarian principles while they are writing legislation.

We need people that care and that want to change our country for the better.

You’ll find no strong disability rights advocate than me in Congress in Indiana.

I live it every day and I know what’s at stake.

We have no more time to waste on people that are not serious civil servants.
