TAEP will be hosting a Pre-season Summer Basketball Camp for boys basketball. Any male student who will be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade next school year who is considering playing boys basketball is encouraged to attend. The practices will focus on fundamental basketball skills and techniques.

These practices will be held in June beginning June 16, 2026, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the TAEP gymnasium. Parents/guardians of students interested in participating are asked to contact Coach Kent Fultz at 304-692-1250. Have a good evening.

EAST PRESTON MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL

Last season, I stepped in to coach the East Preston Middle School boys basketball team, and I'm excited to work with the group again this season.

We will be holding summer flex day workouts for incoming 6h, 7th, and 8th grade boys who are interested in playing basketball this year.

Dates: June 16
June 18
June 23
June 25
June 30

Time: 6:30PM - 8:00PM

Location: East Preston Middle School Gym

These workouts will help us get an idea of interest, participation, and where we are as a team.

Mr. Bolyard and Mr. Schmidl took 8th grade students on a walking field trip to the History House Museum right here in Terra Alta.

The 2026-2027 Band Orientation Meeting is this Thursday, June 4th, at 6:00pm in the PHS Theater. Students will receive documentation for the new school year, including required WVSSAC Physical Forms, travel forms, the PHS Band Handbook, and a schedule for the 2026-2027 year. We will also discuss boosters, concession stand workers for football games, and music will be distributed to students to prepare for the upcoming practices that begin in mid-July.
We look forward to meeting everyone, and to working with you throughout the 2026-2027 school year and beyond!

Attention all students and parents interested in middle school football 6th-8th grade next school year: The Preston County Squires Football Team will be holding a parent meeting on June 5th at 6:00 P.M.
The meeting will be held at the Preston High School Football Field in the bleacher section. If you cannot attend, but are interested or have any questions, please contact Coach Herrington at 304-276-5746.
