While on patrol last night, Tenino Police felt a presence not felt since a time long ago. There were many young Jedi in the park having a grand old time honing their skills. Ofc. McClelland could not help but join them with his own lightsaber. Tenino Police would like to wish you all a safe and memorable summer!

INFO REGARDING VEHICLE TAGGER: Last night the Tenino Police Department arrested and booked into jail a subject for tagging multiple vehicles. If your vehicle was tagged with black spray paint last night within the city limits of Tenino please call the non emergency line regarding Tenino Police case number 25-00032 and a Tenino Police Officer will contact you and add you to the report. Today the Tenino Police Department remembers Ofc. John Dowies, who paid the ultimate price, losing his life in the line of duty. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the surviving family members. Ofc. Dowies is gone, but his service will never be forgotten.
