This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Each day is full of food, fun and support for our staff and all of the amazing work they do.
We want to give a special shout out to our School Board members who are spending a majority of the week in our building ensuring that our staff feel special!
Mallary Tripp, Joanna Schwab and Jennifer Garrett have been in our staff room mixing fancy coffees, special sodas, decorating, preparing lunch, ensuring all staff are fed, washing dishes, and then starting over prepping for whatever is to come the next day. While this week is special, it's not unusual to see our school board members at school going above and beyond to make our staff feel appreciated and supported. From sewing and hanging curtains, to delivering special snacks, to covering recess duty, volunteering in classrooms or donating books, gear and other thrift finds that are needed for classrooms. Our School Board members are committed to supporting our staff and spend countless hours outside of board meetings in the school, at late night events, committee meetings and, like this week, supporting special projects to show appreciation for the staff.
While this week is about our staff, who we are extremely grateful for, we also wanted to give a special shout out to our amazing school board members who are primarily responsible for making this appreciation week possible!
