Join us Friday, May 15th for a Book Binding Workshop, Poetry Reading and Open Mic!

From 3:00 to 5:00pm, we'll host a free Book Binding Workshop with Len Germinara of the Midcoast Poetry Journal. You'll learn a simple DIY process to create handmade, “perfect bound” paperback books. To register, call (207) 372-8961 during library open hours, or stop by to sign up in person.

Then from 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday, we'll host a poetry reading in celebration of the Midcoast Poetry Journal’s publication of its third volume. Contributors will share their poems, followed by an open mic open to all. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is not required for the poetry reading and open mic.

Join us for one or both of these events, in celebration of books, poetry, and community.
