How do you set yourself up for a successful day? For our 3rd-grade class, it’s all about getting organized! Our 3rd grade students map out their day to help build excellent academic habits and everyday life skills. We love seeing them take charge of their learning!

Our 5th graders (Addy, Leighton, Cooper, and Kal) worked together beautifully to make our trip to the Dinosaur Center a huge success. From the car ride to the museum tour, and all the way out to the dig site, these students were absolutely fantastic. I am so excited to be their teacher! - Mrs Hampton

Pan-Cake... Pan-Cake... Pan-Cake... PANCAKE! Our kindergarteners are putting a fun spin on "Duck, Duck, Goose" to learn how to split words into syllables. Learning through play is the absolute best!

We have an opening on the Washakie County School District #2 School Board. Anyone interested in being considered for the appointment should submit a letter of interest to board chair Erin Blutt by Sunday September 13th. Interested people should plan to attend the September 14th board meeting at Ten Sleep Schools for a short interview. The vacancy will be filled no later than September 25th and will serve until the newly elected member takes office in December. Send letters of interest to [email protected]

A great moment of respect and responsibility in the art room! When Mrs. Mills asked her 7th and 8th graders to write down their upcoming due dates, Jaxon showed incredible maturity. He discreetly and respectfully asked for permission to use his phone to input his schedule. It’s wonderful to see our students advocating for themselves and using technology as an educational tool. Great job, Jaxon!

Physical Education is about so much more than just running! It’s crucial for developing both gross and fine motor skills.

​Today, our amazing 1st and 2nd graders worked hard on their soccer skills, practicing how to properly dribble and pass the ball.

​Outstanding job to all our students, and a big shoutout to Mrs. Stiffney for leading the way!

This is what our classroom community is all about! Today, after an accidental mess in class, Tania went above and beyond. Not only did she tidy up her own space, but she also jumped right in to help another student clean theirs. Thank you, Tania, for showing us all what real generosity and dignity look like in action.
