Pumpkin week was so much fun for Pre-K!

- We talked about the pumpkin life cycle!

- We created a positional words book!

- We discussed different size pumpkins!

- We painted pumpkin patches!

- We voted on what face we wanted for our class pumpkin!

- We counted our 625 seeds that were in our pumpkin!

We may not have many photos, but it's because we were having SO much fun in the moment!

We had a great week back in Kindergarten! We introduced our letter of the week “I”. We read The Little Red Hen and learned all about helping each other and the rewards that come from helping our friends. We enjoyed tasting fresh baked bread , it was delicious! We ended our week creating our very own Spookley Pumpkin!

Second grade math review was a blast!

We switched things up a little for math review this week! 🐯

Instead of our usual review, we spent the week playing Math Jeopardy, Math Showdown, solving an escape room, competing against other classes outside, and finishing it off with Math Bingo!

The kids had so much fun, and I loved seeing how excited they were to practice their math skills. We had some friendly competition, lots of teamwork, and plenty of laughs along the way!

Definitely a fun week of learning! 💛🖤

📚✨ Fourth grade had a blast participating in a Book Graffiti Walk! Students explored three upcoming reads: The Circulatory Story, Love That Dog, and Hate That Cat. They previewed each book, made predictions, shared their thoughts with classmates, and recorded their ideas along the way.

These are the books students will be reading during the second nine weeks, and their excitement is already building! We can’t wait to see where these stories take us! ❤️📖

Last night we had the opportunity to celebrate all of the Carroll County Teachers of the Year! We were especially excited to honor our very own Mrs. Alicia Wyatt! We would like to thank the staff, students, and families that came to the Performing Arts Center to celebrate with Mrs. Wyatt. Then this morning, Mrs. Wyatt and her children hosted our Friday Dance Party! Mrs. Wyatt is truly a gem and we are blessed to have her at Temple Elementary! She makes it a great day to be a Tiger!

Just before Fall Break we received a phone call from a mother that filled our hearts with joy and reminded us once again why we do what we do—because every child, every smile, and every moment matters! She wanted to share the following story of how the staff at TES had an impact her son and pushed him in a direction that has lead to his success.

AJ attended Temple Elementary School in 2019, where he received the memorable “Nerd Award” after installing gaming software on a school computer that staff had difficulty removing. Rather than punishing him, his teacher recognized his curiosity and interest in technology. Looking back, that encouragement helped us recognize a talent worth nurturing.

Today, at just 13 years old, AJ is a Cisco-certified IT Support Specialist, a high school graduate, and has been accepted into Liberty University. He completed his high school education through homeschooling in August 2026 and celebrated with a surprise graduation ceremony at Cisco’s Atlanta offices on October 8.

We are so proud of AJ and excited to what the future holds for him! It's a great day to be a tiger!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for the 3rd Annual Temple Cluster Hispanic Heritage Celebration! We enjoyed singing, dancing, art, music, food, and more! Our chorus did a fabulous job with their songs! We are so proud of you! It’s a great day to be a tiger!
