Since 2012, the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving has been designated Giving Tuesday. This global generosity movement unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

This year, Giving Tuesday is focusing on the idea of "radical generosity". Did you know that Temple was designated "Wildflower Capital of Texas" in 1989? This year for Go the Extra Mile Day (Nov. 1st), we are encouraging residents to go the extra mile for Temple and celebrate our wildflower capital designation.

Pledge online now through November 1st to receive a pack of wildflower seeds. Fall is the best time to plant wildflowers to ensure a perfect Spring sprouting. Together we can ensure an abundance of wildflowers, keeping Temple beautiful this coming Spring, perfect for America's 250th birthday.

We are so thankful to partner with Western Hills Elementary, Temple Independent School District, and H-E-B for the Our Texas Our Future grant that has sponsored this program. We have loved getting to launch for these Little Sprouts to continue to better their community!

It has been an eventful Monday for the KTB Team! We donated TWO FULL BAGS of grocery bags that were collected by our community members and various City of Temple departments to donate to the Little Sprouts 4th & 5th graders at Western Hills Elementary! We love getting to partner with other organizations and be a part of initiatives that make an impact to Keep Temple Beautiful!
We were also able to water our Butterfly Gardens that the Little Sprouts planted in front of Western Hills Elementary!
