🚦⭐ Safety Patrol: Day 1! ⭐🚦

Our 5th grade Safety Patrol kiddos had their first day on duty this morning, helping open car doors and welcome our KP Stars to school! We saw some BIG smiles as they jumped right in to help others and show what it means to be a leader. ❤️💙

A special shoutout to two Temple High School seniors who came over to lend a hand and help our newest Safety Patrol members get started. We appreciate you! 🫶

We’re so proud of these kiddos and can’t wait to watch them continue to serve, lead, and shine! ⭐️

They found plenty of Wildcat gear to help them get ready to cheer on our Wildcats tonight!

Today’s dress-up theme brought out the Wildcat spirit, and these two Kennedy-Powell Elementary School staff members showed up on campus in great style!💙

*Pre-order forms went home yesterday, so check those folders. Students may also shop at the Spirit Store in the morning inside near the cafeteria doors. KP Stars love this and we have so much fun with it!

Kona Ice is coming to KP!

Kona Ice slips were sent home in student backpacks yesterday!

⭐️IMPORTANT: The Kona Day Pass is available for purchase THIS TIME ONLY! ⭐️

Families who would like to purchase a Kona Day Pass must do so by 8:30 AM this Friday, online! After Friday, September 4, the Day Pass will no longer be available for purchase and families will need to purchase a Single Kona for each future Kona Ice visit! 🍧

We had a wonderful turnout for our Student Council interest meeting! We are excited to see so many kiddos interested in becoming leaders and making a different at KP!

Applications are due September 4, and acceptance letters will be sent home by September 9. We can’t wait to see our future student leaders shine! 💙✨

Kennedy-Powell invites our local first responders to join us for our Freedom Walk on September 11 at 8:00 AM as we honor the heroes who serve and protect our community!

Our second graders have been busy learning and growing! 🌟

Mrs. Fullmer’s class enjoyed pancakes as part of their culminating activity after learning about Paul Bunyan! They also put their math skills to work by practicing measurement. 🥞📏

During morning meeting, Ms. Jackson’s class shared what respect means to them. We love seeing our KP Stars learning important lessons both inside and outside of their academics! ❤️
