Hello all Wildcat Fans. Looking for a little help. On January 19th, 1991. Temple played Abilene in the 3rd place game of the Temple Wildcat Kickoff Classic. It was the final game for the Cats in the tournament and we know the game was against Abilene. We believe the game went to OT and that Abilene won. But we are trying to find the final score for historical purposes. Anyone out there that played in the game, have a newspaper article, photo of the scoreboard. Anything.

Blast From The Past: The 2005 Temple Wildcat soccer team competed and defeated Conroe at A&M Consolidated High School in a Bi-District match up. The game ended 0-0 and remained 0-0 after two overtime periods. During the 35-yard shootout there was a single goal scorer....Kyle Proctor. He was the fourth shooter for the Cats and buried it to the keepers right side. Another interesting fact about this shootout. The Temple goalkeeper (Tom Matthews) faced five shooters, he blocked the first four shooters and the fifth shooter for Conroe missed the goal completely. Blast From The Past: This short clip is the single goal that put Temple over the top of Georgetown in 1993. The game was regularly scheduled for Friday, due to weather the game was rescheduled to Saturday at Woodson Field. The article write-up in the Temple Daily Telegram on Sunday, February 7, 1993 credited the goal to Phillip Solis. The Georgetown Eagles were also ranked #19 in the nation coming into this game. Later on in the same season, the Wildcats would defeat Georgetown again 3-0. We hope you enjoy these clips and please share and like our posts.

Blast From The Past: This one is for you Ricky Salazar. A 1-0 playoff victory over Conroe in Conroe. At about the 15:00 minute mark into the first half James Zavodny found Ricky Salazar running onto goal and Ricky did the rest. We also included a goal line diving header save to preserve the 1-0 lead. We believe the goal line save was Anthony Ramirez. We love our program, and we love our alumni!!! Thanks for making this program what it is throughout the years!

Blast From The Past: This clip is a 2-0 victory over New Braunfels in a non-district game at Woodson Field. The Wildcast scored in each half to secure the victory. We hope you enjoy this clip! Blast From The Past: This 1993 Temple vs Copperas Cove game, we only have a partial tape. So while we have four goals on this clip, we are missing three goals from before the goals we are showing and we are missing at least one goal from after the clips we have posted. If we knew for sure what the final score was, we would know how many goals we are actually missing. From the best we can tell from the tape, the game was at least 8-0. This 1993 team still holds the record, or are at least tied with the most shutouts in a season (16). Their playoff run was four games into the Regional Tournament. Solid team right here!!! We are proud of our history, program and alumni!!!

Blast From The Past: This clip is from the 1999 Temple Wildcat soccer team taking on Killeen High at Woodson Field. The Wildcats were victorious with a 4-0 score. Vatsal Assar scored three of the goals in what we like to call in Temple, a "Cat in the Hat" rather than a hat trick. We are proud of our history, tradition and alumni! Blast From The Past: This clip comes from the 1998 Wildcat Soccer team against Copperas Cove at Woodson Field. The Wildcats won the game 3-0. The first half ended 1-0 with two goals coming later in the second half to seal the deal.

Blast From The Past: This clip is from the Temple vs Killeen High district game at Woodson Field. We do not have the full game on VHS, so we are missing the first three goals of this game. The final score was 8-2 in favor of the Wildcats. Please enjoy this clip, we hope it brings back good memories.

Blast From The Past: OK Temple Soccer Community. We need your help identifying the year this game was played. This Temple vs Killeen Ellison game played at Ellison stumps us. We only have part of the game so we don't know if more than four goals were scored. We have four goals on film and one goal for Ellison, so we know the game was at least 4-1 with what we have. The 1990 Wildcats won a game over Killeen Ellison 4-1, the 1990 team also defeated Ellison 5-3. The 1989 Wildcat soccer team defeated Ellison 5-1. Any help giving us some information about this game, we would greatly appreciate it. We love our soccer and we love our program! Also, if any of you older Wildcats out there have a version of this jersey sitting in your closet. We'd love to see it!!!
