We heard you like books... so we put books in your books.

Happy National Book Month! To kick off October, we’re getting a little meta at the library. We’ve put together some book recommendations entirely dedicated to books about books!

Whether you want to dive into a cozy history of your favorite bookstores, solve a mystery set inside a hidden archive, or share a whimsical picture book about how a story gets made with your little ones, we have a perfect match.

Grab your library card, channel your inner cozy cat, and head to the library to pick up a book about your favorite hobby.

👇 Drop a comment: If you were a cat lounging in a library, which section would you take your nap in?

Every reader deserves to see themselves, their history, and their world reflected on library shelves. Banned Books Week is Oct. 4-10, and we are celebrating your freedom to read and highlighting the diverse stories that make our community so vibrant!

Libraries are welcoming, and inclusive spaces built to provide reading materials for everyone. While some of these titles have been challenged books in various places, we believe every reader should have the opportunity to choose the stories that resonate with them.

Looking for your next meaningful read? Stop by to browse our collection, discover a new perspective, or rediscover an old favorite. What are you reading today? Let us know in the comments below!
