In the last couple of days I have seen two friends that I haven't talked to in years. I've left messages to say hi and they have responded either late at night or early morning and have been excited to tell me about getting a grant and that I should try it as well. Immediately the red flags have gone up for me. They have had their Facebook cloned or stolen. Now I'm trying to find out how to tell them and let them know that they may be giving away information that identity thieves could use to hurt them. We can't be too careful. We make sure to protect our homes and our cars - isn't our life and reputation more important to protect?

A good friend sent a message about being aware that people can clone your Facebook and get information while pretending to be your friend. I have been learning a lot about identity theft and am realizing this is a problem that is going to affect more and more people. They say that the rate of having identity stolen is at 1 every 2 seconds. One of the things I have noticed on Facebook is that I will be in a message with someone only to find out it isn't really them. Someone has managed to hijack their account. What else could they be doing with that information? They could find out social security numbers and then try to get a loan? I have a friend whose grandson was only two weeks old and his social security number was stolen and the person tried to get a new car using it. I am representing IDSeal now because my company has recognized that it is as important to have identity theft insurance as it is to have auto or home owner insurance. Tonight the founder of ACN, Greg Provenzano, came from North Carolina visited the Phoenix Marketplace and shared the company's plans for growth with guests and independent business owners. He announced the partnership with Best Buy that was signed this week, making it possible to buy cell phones on contracts with the ACN service installed.

This is the beginning of a busy week. We hired someone to help me at my full time job and she's going to be super. I'll soon have more time to grow my customer base and find new partners. I can't wait!

Welcome to my new page. I am enjoying learning more about Facebook and how to use it for sharing ways to help people. Tonight I was privileged to attend a meeting with some people who are expanding their business to Mexico and Columbia.
