Looking to make a meaningful cultural connection this summer? 🌏💙

The City of Temecula Community Services Department is seeking host families for 6 visiting students from our Sister City, Daisen, Japan! These students will visit Temecula to experience our history, culture, and traditions while sharing their own with local families.

Families with middle or high school students are encouraged to apply and welcome one of our visiting students into their home during this unforgettable exchange experience.

✨ Local students will also receive community service hours for participating as a host family.

✔ Wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen and remember to reapply every two hours
✔ Choose bright neon swimwear for better visibility in and around the water

Join us this Memorial Day as we gather to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

The City of Temecula in partnership with Temecula Valley Veterans of Foreign War invite the community to a special Memorial Day Ceremony at the Temecula Duck Pond & Veterans Memorial. Together, we will pay tribute to our fallen heroes and reflect on their service and sacrifice.

Please be advised that Harveston Lake is currently under a temporary water advisory due to harmful algal bloom conditions identified in localized areas of the lake. Out of an abundance of caution, the lake is closed to all water activities including fishing and boating until further notice.

For your safety:
• Please avoid contact with the water
• Keep pets away from the shoreline and water
• Do not fish or consume fish from the lake at this time
