Three Rivers is a recognized Housing Development Organization, This special designation gives us the ability to work with our communities to provide affordable housing while contributing to the economic stability of the communities. Three Rivers Housing Development Corporation is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organized to provide quality affordable housing opportunities to those families and ind

ividuals with incomes in the low to moderate income range. We serve the following communities in Northeast Nebraska:

Burt County - Craig, Decatur, Lyons, Oakland, Tekamah
Cuming County - Bancroft, Beemer, West Point, Wisner
Dodge County - Fremont, Dodge, Hooper, Nickerson, North Bend, Scribner
Washington County - Arlington, Blair, Fort Calhoun, Herman, Kennard
Three Rivers offers down payment assistance and housing rehabilitation to those applicants who meet the HUD income guidelines for their area. Three Rivers sponsors this program to increase the safety and energy efficiency of the homes selected by the participants. This is accomplished by collaborating with agencies like Goldenrod Weatherization, Assistive Technologies, FHLBank of Topeka, USDA and many others to insure that we provide the home buyer with all the tools available to insure their home is safe and efficient when they become the owner. Three Rivers has assisted over 81 first time income eligible homebuyers with down payment assistance and rehabilitation to their homes through our programs.

Our Mission is to continue developing quality affordable housing that strengthens our communities.

Three Rivers Housing Development Corporation is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) recognized Housing Development Organization designated by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and HUD. This special designation gives us the ability to work with communities in many capacities in new construction, acquisition/rehabilitation, affordable senior and multi-family housing. Our work to increase the amount of affordable housing while contributing to the economic stability of the communities in our service area is ongoing. We competitively apply for State, Federal and private funding to support our work. We increase the productivity of our funding by partnering with numerous agencies also involved in affordable housing and enriching the lives of many.

Programs Three Rivers Offers Purchase-Rehab-Resale (PRR) down payment and rehabilitation assistance program to those applicants who are at or below 100% Average Median Income (AMI) Three Rivers has assisted over 100 first time income eligible home-buyers with this program.
