Fascist Count Down Clock

The nuclear war countdown clock will never hit "ZERO" till after the bomb drops. And it will be clear the eponymous event has happened. But when is it clear that Fascism has taken over. Now that we have lived through hundreds of Fascist events, it is still hard to know if we are past the point of no return.

Part of not knowing is the classic fascist penchant for surprise attacks. The attack on the capital was a surprise attack. Everyone saw it coming, but the people who could have prepared a defense (National Guard Troops) where under control of the attackers and prevented from arriving. Some in busses waiting at the district border.

There is a heavy feeling of surprise attack preparations for the '26 midterms. And defenses are being made ready. A legion of lawyers (mostly State AG's) are anticipating scenarios and drawing up matching court challenges. And even if they come off cleanly, (umm on the path to justice), his majesty Debacle Don will still have two years and two months to make more assaults.

Returning to my point, a countdown is not appropriate for some event that cant be confirmed till long after its too late. So rather then aping the Nuclear clock, I will come up with another metric of impending doom. Suggestions welcome.

And I apologize for the long silence when clearly many relevant events have happened.

The word "Stochastic" means random, and is part of the phrase "Stochastic terrorism" which means instigated terrorism with no privately directed contact to the perpetrators. The attack on the capital was stochastic terrorism. The attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband was stochastic terrorism. Perhaps rather then calling this random terrorism, it should be called crowd sourced terrorism, because its random element, is not the critical part. The critical part being the lie and the fear being used to incite blind hatred.

And the word "Stochastic" is over the syllable limit for most trumpers, and thus a term beyond comprehension, itself only generating fear.

A great point was made on Chris Hayes Friday night. That the continued fire being poured on the bogus "Springfield issue", despite vigorous debunking, is now causing bomb threats and other real damage to the town of 60,000. But the point of that harm is to keep the issue of immigration alive. An issue for some reason trump is winning on. And voters being the limited creatures they are, only have so much issue space.

The purpose of this Stochastic terrorism is only to push the other players pieces off the board. The victims are only needed to gather the attention needed to do that.

And that leaves a large question. Who else but the people should be responsible for choosing the issue space? The sophistication of manipulations just continue to grow, and it seems even the responsible citizens are always years behind in mounting defenses to the constant innovations in fearmongering.

I feel as if the public is this great and powerful beast, that we want to educate so it can defend itself, but the subject matter is complicated for even a good day, when no one is scientifically attacking their dignity and sanity.

The animals of Jan 6th trampled two of their own to death. Both of the killed where women. Also one of the few women there was allowed and urged on to make a su***de attack on the last Capital defensive line. I don't think the these are a coincidence. I think the MAGA movement is chock full of women haters. And does a great job of covering that up, with an even better job at executing it.

Does any one think J.D.Vance's contempt for childless women, or childless teachers comes from the same place of contempt for the "s**t hole" countries, or from earlier language"mud races"? Could it be that without 'good' white babies, this country will 'sink' in the mud, and that failure to keep the birthrate up, means immigration has to be encouraged just to keep the sla... umm work force up?

With AI doing more and more for us, will ordinary wages be able to support life?

If there is no push to fully understand equal freedom, so that privilege can be minimized, the answer is a hard no. Those that profit by owning the earth and selling its access to us workers, will be able to keep more and more of that, as the AI work "force" will not need any natural rent to exist like the rest of us.

A slave holder south was such a threat to labor that unions where creating their own volunteer regiments for joining the fight. This same threat now comes to drive wages down, only the slaves will not mind being slaves in the least.

If we owned the commons as our actual freedom birthright would b e realized, the increase in productivity, would in no way become a threat. The value of the commons increases, and our share in that would increase as well. The labor saving devices would actually be labor saving devices. Rather then tools for the privileged rich to disenfranchise the workers.
