We're Hiring: Transportation Coordinator

Every school day starts and ends with transportation, and we're looking for someone to help keep it running smoothly.

Shawnee Heights USD 450 is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support our students, families, drivers, and schools by helping oversee daily transportation operations.

From coordinating routes and supporting drivers to helping ensure students arrive safely each day, this position plays an important role in our district's success.

Summer meals are available at no cost to all children ages 18 and younger. Meals are served M-F from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Tecumseh North Elementary School (214 SE Stanton). Please enter on the south side of the building.

Summer meals will be available through July 24, 2026, except on June 19 and July 3, when meals will not be served.

Meal menus can be found on the Dining Menu page of our website. If you have questions, please call 785-730-5032.

Today marks the last day of school for Shawnee Heights, and what a way to wrap up the 2025-2026 school year!

Between graduation, promotions, field days, assemblies, retirement celebrations, school tours, and so many other end-of-year traditions, these last few weeks have been filled with unforgettable moments across our district.

As students head into summer break, we want to thank our staff, families, and community for another incredible year of learning, growth, and support for our students.
