Ok, who's seeing them? 👀

It's fawn season and they may be popping up in strange places (hello grass next to the driveway...). Remember that even if mom isn't visibly nearby, she'll be back. A doe will leave her fawn for hours at a time and return when she thinks it's safe.

A photo or two is fine, but avoid interacting with the fawn. They have very little smell and blend in well, making it difficult for predators to find them. Help keep them safe by giving them space and letting mom do her thing.

Scam Alert - The Tecumseh Police Department will never call you and ask for money or threaten to arrest you if you do not comply in paying the Tecumseh Police Department.

Here are some friendly reminders when receiving these types of calls:

• Do not trust the caller ID. Today’s technology allows people to change the incoming call number so it appears as if the call is coming from a local business or police department.

• Anyone that is asking for payment in the form of Bitcoin, pre-paid credit cards, or wire transfers is not a trusted government agency or a respected business.

• As always if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Tecumseh Police Department.
